Habersham County Sheriff’s Office Looking For Driver of Stolen Vehicle
The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office is looking for an individual last seen around noon today, Monday, April 1, in the J Warren Road area near Cornelia. He was driving a stolen green 1997 Ford Ranger extended cab pickup truck bearing North Carolina tag VAH 8522.
As shown in the photos attached to this story, the male being sought is wearing a gray hoodie, camo paints and, it would appear, bright red shoes.
The man is believed to be involved in several thefts, especially of gas cans.
The truck was reported stolen last night from the Demorest area, while the most recent theft, of gas cans, happened just before noon today.
Anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1. Anyone with information about the man involved is asked to call the non-emergency dispatch number at (706) 778-3911.
