GSP Post 7 investigating Thursday evening fatality crash on the Bypass
As reported on our on-air news broadcasts at 7:30 and 8 a.m. this morning, WNEG News was notified early this morning by Georgia State Patrol Post 7 that a single-vehicle crash on GA17 (Highway 17 Bypass) near GA145 (Liberty Hill Road) resulted in a fatality.
The incident occurred last night, September 14, at approximately 10:15 p.m.
The GSP Investigation is still ongoing, according to GSP Post 7 Commander, SFC Donnie Saddler, who said that no further information will be released until the investigation is complete.
