GSP investigates Thursday wreck

A multiple car accident on Hwy 17 near Memorial Drive is currently being investigated by the Georgia State Patrol.

The accident happened shortly after 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

Officials had to close a portion of roadway until the wreckage was cleared.
