Grover Bill Cleveland

Grover Bill Cleveland, 88, formerly of Westminster, husband of Stella Smith Cleveland, passed away, October 20, 2020 at Stephens County Hospital in Georgia.

Born Habersham County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Lewis and Angeline Burton Cleveland. Mr. Cleveland was a United States Air Force veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, retiring from Tugalo Gas Company as a crane operator. He was a member for many years at Faith Baptist Church in Westminster and was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church in Toccoa, Georgia.

In addition to his wife, Stella Smith Cleveland; Mr. Cleveland is survived by sons, James Herrin of Banks County, Georgia, Watson Herrin of Jackson County, Georgia; daughters, Sylvia Sanders, Sandra Smith both of Toccoa, Georgia, Martha Galloway of Alto, Georgia, Kay McCalister of Clarkesville, Georgia, Shayna Arrowood of Westminster; brother, Charles Cleveland of Demorest, Georgia; nineteen grandchildren; and thirty-seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cleveland is preceded in death by his sone, Clinton Herrin; daughters, Amy Stagner, Jean Breeding; brothers, William, Virgil and Brady Cleveland; sisters, Mary Jane Shelton and Winnie Crisp.

A Funeral Service will be held 3 pm, Friday, October 23rd, 2020 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 3729 Rock Creek Road, Toccoa, Georgia 30577. A visitation will be 1-3 pm prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
