Grand Jury Hands Down A Number of Indictments for Burglary

Three people have been indicted on four counts of possession, manufacture and sale of marijuana and cocaine.

The Stephens County Grand Jury indicted 28-year-old Justin Holland, 69-year-old Theodore Swilling, and Khristopher Blake Maxwell with one count of cocaine possession, one count of selling marijuana, one count of cocaine possession with intent and one count of manufacturing marijuana.

According to the indictment, the incidents took place between February and March 2017.

Authorities say a search warrant was issued for a residence on DeFoor Road in April 2017 after a three-month drug investigation revealed that cocaine, marijuana, and other illegal drugs were being sold from that location.

The drugs seized included crack cocaine and marijuana with a street value of about $4,350.

In other indictments, Mikal Ean McLane and SonjaAnnette Sherman were indicted on one count each of 2nd Degree Burglary and Interference with Government Property.

Stephens County Sheriff’s investigators say the pair were allegedly responsible for a string of burlgaries last summer in the Seven Forks Road Gumlog area.

Both were arrested after a witness saw their vehicle pull into several driveways at random and then leave without getting out of their vehicle and called 911.

And Elijah Craig Henderson was indicted by the Grand Jury on two counts of first degree burglary, and one count of second degree burglary.

Another suspect in the same case, Shana Marie Adams was indicted on two counts of theft by receiving stolen property, and one count of possession of a controlled substance.

Authorities say in June 2017, the Henderson allegedly broke into a home and out building on Pulliam Road and stole a number of items, including firearms and tools.

According to the indictment, Henderson then allegedly sold two of the stolen items, a 12-guage shtogun and a Black & Decker circular saw to McAdams.
