For 50 years, Gower has impacted innumerable lives through public speaking; though, not only throughout the United States, but also, in 10 different countries around the world.

He told WNEG News, recently, about some of his most memorable travels throughout his career. One in particular was his trip to Turkey.

Gower said that everyone in Turkey was very hospitable, kind, and even cried when he left.

According to Gower, public speaking has been a staple throughout his life, beginning with his mother who taught public speaking at home to many students throughout his childhood.

Gower has written 26 books, published a number of articles for magazines and other publications, and was featured on PBS Television and XM Sirius Satellite Radio.

However, he did say that even after retiring from Public Speaking, he would still continue his radio program ‘Tick-Tock Toccoa’ on WNEG.

When asked why he chose to retire, he explained that he wanted to end while he was still in good health.

Gower continued to say that his last speech will encompass tapping into your brain’s potential.
