General Runoff Election Results for State and County

The results are in for the January 5th General Runoff Election.

With 99.37 % of the votes in, it looks like Rev. Raphael Warnock will take the U.S. Senate runoff. As of now, the unofficial results from the Georgia Secretary of State’s website that may not include all absentee or provisional votes have the Democrat challenger Warnock with over two million, two hundred and thirty thousand votes to the Republican incumbent Kelly Loeffler’s over two million, one hundred seventy-six thousand votes to fill the seat to fill the unexpired term of Johnny Isakson.

The other U.S. Senate seat is too close to call with the Democrat challenger Jon Ossoff with a seventeen thousand vote lead over Republican incumbent David Perdue.Ossoff is projected to win.

In the Public Service Commission District 4 race, the incumbent Republican Lauren Bubba McDonald will keep the seat with a just under sixty-nine thousand vote lead over challenger Democrat Daniel Blackmon.

In Stephens County, around 10,000 voters went to the polls and the vote went as follows:

For the United States Senate voters in Stephens County had Perdue with 7,979 votes to Ossoff’s 2,058.

For United States Senate, to fill the unexpired term of Johnny Isakson, Stephens County voters had Loeffler with 7,975 total votes, and Warnock received 2,059 votes.

For Public Service Commissioner Stephens County voters had McDonald with 8,024 total votes to Blackman’s 1,903 votes.

Again, these are the voter results in Stephens County.
