GDHS invites Faith and Nonprofit members to meeting in Toccoa

The Georgia Department of Human Services is seeking help from local agencies.

As part of an ongoing commitment to build stronger families for a stronger Georgia, the Department of Human Services is inviting members of the faith and nonprofit communities to attend a meeting in Toccoa to discuss opportunities for the community to come together to support vulnerable children and families in Toccoa-Stephens County.

The meeting is being held at St. Matthias Episcopal Church, located at 995 E. Tugalo Street, in Toccoa, this morning (January 30, 2020) from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.

This is an opportunity to learn about aging and disability services, child support services and foster care and adoption services.

Those in attendance is asked to engage in a discussion on how the community can partner with the Department of Human Services to help vulnerable children, adults and families in the community.
