The Stephens County Indians baseball team placed 4 players on the Region 8-AAA All-Region Team. Those players include junior pitcher Ayden Garmon, junior outfielder Carson Worley, and infielders Cruz Mullinix a junior, and Ben Stowe a sophomore.
In addition, junior Garrett Pless, and seniors Mason Roberts, and Ian Rumsey were named Honorable Mention.
Franklin County’s Dee Oliver was named Player of the Year, and his teammate, Kayne Jinks along with Hart County’s Will Dean were named Co-Pitchers of the Year.
Region Champion Franklin County and 2nd place Oconee County each placed 6 players on the team, followed by Hart County with 5 selections.
The Indians finished 4th in the region standings and earned a spot in the state playoffs but were knocked out in the 1st round by Greater Atlanta Christian.
