First COVID-19 report released for Stephens County Schools

The first COVID-19 report for Stephens County Schools has been released.

As WNEG News told you earlier this week, the Stephens County School system has decided to track COVID-19 throughout the district.

On Thursday, a report was released announcing that a paraprofessional at Big A Elementary School received a positive COVID test.

Following the guidelines from the Georgia Department of Health, the school system has notified the parents of all exposed students.

These students will be required to quarantine from school for 14 days.

Later Thursday, Stephens County School Superintendent Dr. Daniel Oldham announced that he had been exposed to COVID-19 and would be in quarantine for 14 days.

The report can be found online at stephenscountyschools.org.
