Feed the Frontlines Georgia needs donations to serve Stephens County’s healthcare workers

A Stephens County High School Senior and future University of Georgia student has partnered with a new organization to help feed Stephens County’s healthcare workers.

Jacob Struble recently started working with Feed the Frontlines Georgia, a nonprofit organization that raises money to help Georgia’s restaurants and healthcare workers during the COVID-19 crisis.

Struble says Feed the Frontlines Georgia has raised over $38,000, delivered over 1,500 meals, and have 3,500 planned meal deliveries for the month of May across the state of Georgia.

Feed the Frontlines Georgia is now expanding to Stephens County to help the healthcare workers here locally.

Struble says he is working to develop partnerships with locally-owned restaurants.

Additionally, Struble says he needs the community’s help to raise funds to help pay for the cost of food.

If you would like to donate to Feed the Frontlines Georgia and would like to see those funds stay in Toccoa-Stephens County, Struble says you can write “Toccoa” in the comment section of your donation at feedthefrontlinesga.org and those funds will be directed back to our local restaurants and hospital.

Again, you can also make a donation through Venmo by sending funds to @FTFga.
