Fall Rabies Clinic this Saturday, in Lavonia

The Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter in Lavonia will be holding their fall rabies clinic this Saturday.

This is the shelter’s second low-cost rabies clinics of the year.

According to Shelter manager, Tammie Jourdenais, the clinic will offer rabies vaccines for large and small pets.

You can also have your pet microchipped Saturday.

Jourdenais says that’s one of the best ways to keep your pet safe and get them back if they ever go missing.

And you don’t have to be a resident of Franklin County to take advantage of the low-cost rabies clinic.

Again the rabies clinic is Saturday, October 21 at the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter on Bear Creek Road in Lavonia from 10a to 2p.

Jourdenais reminds pet owners to make sure cats are in a secure carrier and dogs are on a leash.
