Early Voting in Stephens County starts today

Voters in Stephens County can begin casting their ballots in the November General Election today.

Stephens County Registrar Bill Cochran says that polls will be open for the next three weeks prior to the November 6 election.

Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday from today through November 2.

Again, there will be a Saturday vote, on Oct. 27, which will run from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

All early voting is at the Stephens County Registrar’s Office, which is located in the Stephens County Courthouse Annex on Tugalo Street in Downtown Toccoa.

Those who do not vote early will cast ballots on Nov. 6 at the Stephens County Senior Center.

Polls will be open on election day from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Cochran says if you want to vote early but cannot do so in person, absentee ballots are still going out.
