Eades signs with Piedmont University to play College Basketball

Stephens County High School basketball player, NaNa Eades, has decided to further her academic and athletic career at Piedmont University this fall.  She held a signing ceremony Wednesday at the high school to announce her decision.

As one of seven seniors that led the Lady Indians to the region title and the state quarterfinals, she was a four year member of the varsity basketball team and holds the school record for assists, achieved her 1000th career point this past season, and was named to the All-Region team.

NaNa will be joining another Lady Indian teammate, Kiki Howard, at Piedmont.  She says that was one of the reasons she decided on Piedmont.  “It is a good basketball program, and it is kinda close to home, so that is good.  And I would be with one of my fellow teammates which will be good for us—we can push each other.”

NaNa is the daughter of Dorothy and Robert Eades.  She plans to study athletic training.
