DPH Reports Two More Deaths in Stephens Due to Covid-19

The Georgia Department of Public Health is reporting two more deaths in Stephens County due to complications of Covid-19. The latest report brings a total of 24 deaths, eleven in the last two weeks.

DPH is also reporting 18 more total positive cases of Covid-19 in Stephens bringing that total to 796. A total of 133 additional positive cases in that same two week period.

The latest report was released Thursday afternoon.

DPH is also reporting two additional deaths in Habersham County bringing that total to 61, and 1,301 total positive cases of the virus.

In other neighboring counties,  Franklin County has had 522 cases and 10 deaths, Rabun County has a total of 268 cases and 5 deaths, Hart County has had 392 cases and 10 deaths, and Banks County has a total of 360 cases and 8 deaths.

Across the state of Georgia, the Department of Public Health is reporting a total of 263,074 cases, of those, 24,127 have been hospitalized and 5,393 have died from complications of the virus.
