DPH Reports Rise in Positive Cases Statewide

The Department of Public Health is now reporting a total of 428,980 cases around the state of Georgia, Over 4,000 more cases than reported on Tuesday, of those 263 were hospitalized bringing that total to 35,326, and 32 more died from complications of the virus bringing that total to 8,830.

The Georgia Department of Public Health is now reporting a total of 1,567 positive cases of Covid-19, and still 45 deaths in Stephens County since the beginning of the global pandemic.

The latest report was released Wednesday afternoon.

The latest report has Habersham County with 80 deaths and a total of 2,391 positive cases of the virus.

In other neighboring counties, Hart County is still reporting 20 deaths and now 749 cases, Franklin County is still reporting 19 deaths and now 1,206 positive cases, Rabun County is still  reporting 11 deaths and now 610 cases, and Banks County is still reporting 12 deaths, and 781 cases.
