DPH Reports Another Covid Related Death in Stephens

The Georgia Department of Public Health is reporting another Covid-19 related death in Stephens County bringing the total now to 71 with 2,858 residents testing positive for the virus, since the beginning of the global pandemic.

The latest report was released Monday afternoon.

DPH is also reporting a death in Franklin County bring the total to 37 and now 2,268 positive cases of the virus, and a death in Banks County bringing the total to 33 and now 1,552 cases.

The latest report still has Habersham County with 136 deaths and now 4,548 positive cases of the virus.

In other neighboring counties, Habersham County still has had 136 deaths and now 4,548 positive cases of the virus, Rabun County is now reporting 1,428 cases and 36 deaths, and Hart County is reporting 1,651 cases and 35 deaths.

According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, there were just over 1200 cases reported since Sunday for a total now of 819,730 positive cases of the virus across the state of Georgia, of those 50 more were hospitalized bringing that total now to 56,089, and the total death count due to complications of the virus is now at 15,148.
