DPH reports 2 additional COVID-19 related deaths in Stephens County

The latest report from the Georgia Department of Public Health  has Stephens County with 1,193 positive cases of the virus since the beginning of the global pandemic, and 41 deaths related to the virus.

The latest report was released Sunday afternoon.

DPH is reporting Habersham County with 72 deaths, and now 1,778 total positive cases of the virus.

In other neighboring counties, Rabun County is now reporting 11 deaths and 397 cases, Hart County has had 14 deaths and now 542 cases, Banks County is reporting 8 deaths and 525 cases, and Franklin County with 804 total positive cases and 16 deaths.

Across the state of Georgia, the Department of Public Health is now reporting a total of 331,409 cases, of those, 29,635 have been hospitalized and 7,416 have died from complications of the virus.
