DPH reports 1,129 total cases of COVID-19 in Stephens County

The latest report from the Georgia Department of Public Health  has Stephens County with 1,129 positive cases of the virus since the beginning of the global pandemic, and 38 deaths related to the virus.

The latest report was released Monday afternoon.

DPH is reporting Habersham County with 71 deaths, and now 1,733 total positive cases of the virus.

In other neighboring counties, Rabun County is now reporting 10 deaths and 378 cases, Hart County has had 13 deaths and now 528 cases, Banks County is reporting 8 deaths and 503 cases, and Franklin County with 778 total positive cases and 14 deaths.

Across the state of Georgia, the Department of Public Health is now reporting a total of 323,714 cases, of those, 28,987 have been hospitalized and 7,192 have died from complications of the virus.
