DPH Reporting Another Death-Total of 700 Cases in Stephens County

The Georgia Department of Public Health is reporting another death in Stephens County due to complications of Covid-19 bringing the total to 18.

DPH is now reporting that there has been a total of 700 total positive cases of Covid-19 in Stephens County.

The latest report was released Monday afternoon.

DPH is still reporting 52 deaths in Habersham County and a total of 1,212 positive cases of the virus.

In other neighboring counties,  Hart County has had 351 cases and eight deaths, Franklin County has had 460 cases and six deaths, Banks County has a total of 302 cases and six deaths, and Rabun County has a total of 234 cases and three deaths.

Across the state of Georgia, the Department of Public Health is reporting a total of 238,861 cases, of those, 22,133 have been hospitalized and 4,727 have died from complications of the virus.
