DPH Reporting 14th Death in Stephens Due to Virus

The Georgia Department of Public Health is reporting the 14th death in Stephens County due to complications of Covid-19.

DPH is now reporting a total of 676 positive cases of Covid-19 in Stephens County. This marks an increase of 53 positive Covid-19 cases in Stephens County since Sunday.

The latest report was released Thursday afternoon.

DPH is now reporting 51 deaths in Habersham County and a total of 1183 positive cases of the virus.

In other neighboring counties,  Hart County has had 331 cases and now eight deaths, Franklin County has had 434 cases and six deaths, Banks County has a total of 288 cases and five deaths, and Rabun County is still at a total of 230 cases and three deaths.

Across the state of Georgia, the Department of Public Health is reporting a total of 228,668 cases, of those, 21,581 have been hospitalized and 4,538 have died from complications of the virus.
