DPH continues to report 41 COVID-19 related deaths in Stephens County

The latest report from the Georgia Department of Public Health has Stephens County with 41 deaths related to Covid-19, and 1,252 positive cases of the virus since the beginning of the global pandemic.

The latest report was released Tuesday afternoon.

DPH is now reporting one more death in Habersham County bringing that total to 75, and now 1,838 total positive cases of the virus.

In other neighboring counties, DPH is reporting 16 deaths in Hart County and still 562 cases, Rabun County is  reporting 11 deaths and 416 cases, Banks County is still reporting 8 deaths and 544 cases, and Franklin County with 854 total positive cases and 17 deaths.

Across the state of Georgia, the Department of Public Health is now reporting a total of 342,438 cases, of those, 30,541 have been hospitalized and 7,674 have died from complications of the virus.
