Demorest Man Dies at Construction Site
A Demorest man died while working on a construction site in downtown Clarkesville Wednesday.
According to Habersham County Coroner, 43-year-old Michael Alan Dawson was working on the roof of the new fellowship hall at Clarkesville United Methodist Church when he fell.
He was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, where he died at 2:45 p.m., a few hours after the accident occurred.
