Cleveland in Senior Bowl This Weekend

Former Stephens County and Georgia Bulldog standout Ben Cleveland will be playing in the 2021 Reese’s Senior Bowl this Saturday in Mobile, Alabama.

The game will feature the most players ever to participate in the Senior Bowl with 134 confirmed for the game.

This year, the players are divided into “American” and “National” teams. Cleveland is on the “American” team coached by the Carolina Panthers coaching staff. The “National” team is being coached by the Miami Dolphins staff.

The Reece’s Senior Bowl is a great opportunity for players to practice and play in front of NFL coaches and scouts. Some of the practices through Thursday will air on ESPN and the NFL Network, and the game will air on the NFL Network at 1 P.M. on Saturday.

Cleveland, an offensive lineman, will be wearing his familiar number 74.

Other Bulldogs playing in the game include: Malik Herring, D.J. Daniel, Mark Webb, Monty Rice, Tre’ McKitty, and Jamie Newman, who never took a snap in a game at Georgia.

Cleveland was named to the AP All-America 3rd team this year and was also named to the All-SEC first team.

He played for the Indians from 2012-2015.
