City of Toccoa releases holiday schedule for Christmas

The City of Toccoa has released its holiday schedule for Christmas.

Toccoa City Hall will be closed on December 24 and 25 in observance of the holiday.

Routes for garbage and recycling scheduled to be picked up on Thursday, December 24^th will now be picked up on Monday, December 28, and routes for garbage and recycling scheduled to be picked up on Friday, December 25, will be picked up on Tuesday, December 29.

Commercial garbage that is scheduled for Friday, December 25, will be picked up on Saturday, December 26, but yard waste and other items will not be picked up.

The Toccoa Police and Fire Departments will be on duty.

Utility department employees as well as employees from the Public Works Department will be on call for emergency situations.

The Links at Lake Toccoa will be open regular hours for the course on Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24, and will be closed on Christmas Day, Friday, December 25.

The Links will reopen on December 26 and operate on its normal schedule.
