Chamber’s Pre-Legislative Coffee coming up next week

The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Pre-Legislative Coffee event is next Thursday, January 4.

State House Representative for District 32 Chris Erwin and 50th District State Senator Bo Hatchett will meet with local business leaders and community members to discuss the issues facing the Georgia General Assembly when the 2024 regular session opens on Monday, January 8, 2024. 

The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce is hosting the annual event beginning at 9 a.m. at the Currahee Club, located at 1 Currahee Club Drive, in Toccoa.

According to Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce President Julie Paysen, Erwin and Hatchett will both provide updates on the top issues and share their insights to challenges and concerns during the upcoming General Assembly.

Paysen said that all community leaders, business owners, Chamber members and citizens are invited to attend.

She added that both Erwin and Hatchett have confirmed their attendance, and said that representatives from the offices of United States Senator Raphael Warnock and United States Congressman Andrew Clyde will be in attendance at the event.
