Carl Harold Graham

Carl Harold Graham, age 91, of Toccoa, passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 2, 2020 at the Wilkinson Center.

Born December 4, 1928 in Marietta, GA he was the son of the late Carl and Mary Louise Roland Graham, and the fifth of nine children.  He lived most of his life in Toccoa and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.  Harold worked for the General Telephone Company (GTE) for over forty years.  After his retirement he became a self-taught expert fudge maker and thoroughly enjoyed sharing his talent with many.  He spent countless hours in his woodworking shop and made over 300 benches that he gave away to family and friends.  Harold was a kind-hearted person, loved by many.  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of fifty eight years, Imogene (Jean) Herron Graham.

Family members include his sons and a daughter-in-law, Terry Carl Graham of Athens, GA and Rev. Timothy Harold and Deana Graham of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Robert Graham and Bethany, Jenny Graham Franklin and Chris, Molly Graham, Emma Graham, and Timothy Harold Graham, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jordan Graham, Ethan Graham, Mac Franklin and Myles Franklin.

Harold taught us all in the way he lived his life with character, humility, and integrity.  He will be missed by family and loved ones.
