Benjamin Jefferson “Pee Wee” Kay, Jr.

Benjamin Jefferson “Pee Wee” Kay, Jr., 82, of Williamston, SC, husband of the late Valerie Eleanor Hilton Kay, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020.

Born in Stephens County, GA, he was a son of the late Benjamin Jefferson Kay, Sr. and Nancy Emaline Turpin Kay.

A U. S. Army veteran, he retired as a diesel mechanic.  A member of Williamston Pentecostal Holiness Church, Mr. Kay was also a Mason and a member of the Golden Strip Shrine Club.

Survivors include his sons, Jerry Kay of Lavonia, GA, Jeff Kay (Mandy) of Anderson, Larry Seals of Belton, Brian Kay of Williamston, Benjamin Kay (Nicole) of Williamston; sisters, Linda Edwards (Wayne) and Rilla Jean Hornick; grandchildren, Derin Bridges, Emily Kay, Colin Seals, Ainslie Kay, Braelyn Kay, Marty Graham, Leigh Grant (Morgan); and great-grandchildren, Bentley, Nevaeh, and Kaleigh.

He was predeceased by brother, Marvin Kay; and sisters, Ruby Harrison and Martha Jo Loden.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 10, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Gray Mortuary.

The funeral will be Friday, December 11, at noon in the mortuary chapel, with burial to follow at M. J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

Due to Covid-19, the family prefers that masks be worn, and social distancing observed.
