Bell Ringers needed for Toccoa’s Salvation Army

The Salvation Army of Toccoa is looking for both volunteers and hired employees to ring bells and collect donations from now until Christmas Eve.

According to Social Worker Brenda Gragg with the Salvation Army of Toccoa, being a Bell Ringer is a rewarding experience to help fill the needs of community members who are facing tough times this Christmas Season.

Gragg adds that this year, the Toccoa office is experiencing a shortage of Bell Ringers, and to combat this, the community is asked to step in.

She continued by saying how the difference between an empty kettle and one that raises about $30 per hour is a Bell Ringer.

All donations collected help provide basic needs, housing, youth services, rehabilitation, and counseling and spiritual care to the community
