ARDEO arrest 3 in Habersham County drug bust

In Habersham County, three people face multiple charges after a months-long investigation by ARDEO and Habersham County Sheriff’s investigators.

According to a released issued by ARDEO, on Monday, July 26, 2021, a search warrant was executed at a residence on Jud Pitts Rd in Mt. Airy, Georgia.

There, federal, state, and local authorities seized five grams of Methamphetamine, approximately 20 grams of Marijuana, two firearms and approximately $6,000.00.

Additionally, one motorcycle and three four-wheelers were also seized from the property where the search warrant was executed.

The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Mt. Airy Police Department, and the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office were involved in the investigation.

Three individuals were arrested and charged with multiple counts.

Johnny Ray Jordan, age 42, of Mt. Airy, was arrested and charged with four counts of criminal conspiracy, four counts of distribution, one count of possession of methamphetamine, and one count of possession of marijuana.

Thomas Blair Carter, age 55, of Mt. Airy, was arrested and charged with one count of criminal conspiracy trafficking, six counts for the sale of methamphetamine, and six counts of trafficking methamphetamine.

Jennifer Marie Sullivan, age 35, of Mt. Airy, was arrested and charged with one count of possession of Methamphetamine, and one count of possession of Marijuana.

ARDEO reports the three arrests were the result of another drug trafficking investigation that began in February 2020.
