Annita Michele Sellers

Annita Michele Sellers, age 52 of Athens Road, Winterville passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023.

 

Michele, born in Louisville, Kentucky, was the beloved daughter of Sharon and Wilson Yeast, and sister to Jennifer (Philippe) Munn.  She moved to Georgia at the age of 6 where she would spend the remainder of her life.  She was the wife of the late Chris Sellers and the loving mother to Terry Sellers.

 

Michele’s passion for numbers and her uncanny ability to organize would eventually lead her to a career as a Loan Service Coordinator for the University of Georgia, but it was her large heart and love of family that lead her to the Foster care system, where she would happily open her arms and her home to the children who needed her.  She was a sweet soul who loved babies, animals and her family.

 

Survivors include her parents, Wilson and Sharon Yeast of Toccoa; son, Terry Sellers of Winterville; sister; Jennifer (Philippe) Munn; aunt and namesake Annita (Charles) Caine; her uncle Taylor (Mary) Cox, nieces and nephews, Nicolas (Caroline, Miro, Otto) Munn-Rico, Marie (Bruno) Munn-Rico; cousins, Jeremy (Sarah) Likins, Joshua (Michelle) Likins, Jason (Tracy) Cox and Carrie (Brandon) Lach.  She also leaves behind her adored dog Penny.  Her absence will be felt by many.

 

Memorial services will be Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 3 p.m. at the Confidence Methodist Church with the Reverend Dennis Wilkes officiating along with other speakers.

 

The family will receive friends at the Confidence Methodist Church on Thursday from 2 p.m. until 3p.m.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Confidence Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 366, Eastanollee, Georgia 30538 or Stephens County Food 2 Kids, c/o Lucy Davis, P.O. Box 493, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 in memory of Michele Sellers.

 

Inurnment will follow in the Confidence Methodist Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Anitta Michele Sellers.
