Annie Moses Band coming to Toccoa

PBS sensation and Emmy Award-winning folk artist, Annie Moses Band, well-known for their fiery string playing and soulful renditions of beloved American songs, are bringing their holiday cheer to Toccoa, this weekend, with Christmas with the Annie Moses Band at the Georgia Baptist Conference Center, located at 462 Sonrise Way, held in the Garrison Auditorium.

The band will perform Sunday, Nov. 26 beginning at 4 p.m.

Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce President Julie Paysen told WNEG News about the forthcoming concert.

 

“Christmas with the Annie Moses Band is a perennial holiday favorite and stands on the PBS charts as one of the most played specials of the season.”

A flurry of holiday classics, the band’s repertoire is chock-full of holiday cheer.

Renditions range from the spirited ‘God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen’ to ‘O Holy Night’, this evening of music is anticipated to be invigorating, reverential, and transporting.

Paysen adds that this is the perfect way to kick-off the list of events scheduled in Toccoa, slated to begin next week.

Tickets are assigned seating, and prices vary; currently, there are still tickets available, Paysen said.

Tickets will be available at the Chamber of Commerce until Wednesday, at noon; if you miss this deadline, you can also get tickets online at visittoccoa.com or AnnieMosesBand.com/tour.

Tickets are $25 for students and seniors, $30 for adults, and $40 for VIP seating.
