Angel Tree Program distribution is today at Salvation Army of Toccoa

Today many families in Stephens County will gather at the Salvation Army of Toccoa to pick-up Christmas presents for their children through the Angel Tree Program.

Social Worker Brenda Gragg with the Salvation Army of Toccoa says distribution will run throughout the day.

This year, in Stephens County, over 600 children were signed-up to be recipients of the Angel Tree Program, and Gragg says through the generosity and support of the community, all of those children will open a gift on Christmas Day.

Gragg says she is thankful for everyone who donated and played a part in making this yet another successful Christmas.

Again, anyone who signed-up their child to receive gifts through the Angel Tree Program needs to come to the Salvation Army of Toccoa today before 4 p.m.

The Salvation Army of Toccoa is located 306 East Franklin Street.
