Addison takes SCBC Post 4 Seat
Tonight, the polls closed, ending the May general primary runoff election, here in Stephens County.
Locally, the two candidates vying for the Stephens County Board of Commissioners Post 4 seat were Republican candidates James Addison and Bryan Dooley.
The residents of Stephens County selected James Addison to fill the Post 4 seat.
According to unofficial and incomplete election results, Addison received 1187 votes; whereas, Dooley received 1049 votes.
In total, 2,236 registered voters cast ballots in the Stephens County Board of Commissioners Post 4 race.
Addison will replace Commissioner Stanley London, who chose not to seek re-election.
