8 Indians qualify for State Sectional Tournament

The Stephens County Indians wrestling team qualified 8 wrestlers into the State Sectional Tournament coming up February 2^nd and 3^rd in Jefferson.

To qualify, wrestlers had to finish in the top 4 of their respective weight classes at the Area Individual Tournament held this past Saturday at St. Pius High School.

Indian Wrestlers qualifying were: Justin Tucker, 3^rd place, 120 lbs; Nikko Beady, 3^rd place, 132 lbs; Trey Blackwell, 4^th place, 152 lbs; Cameron White, 4^th place, 160 lbs; Bailey McKee, 2^nd place, 170 lbs; Rene Zuniga, 4^th place, 195 lbs; Gavin Walker, 1^st place, 220 lbs; and Josh Smallwood, 4^th place, 286 lbs.
