44th annual Toccoa Harvest Festival set for this weekend

The 44th annual Toccoa Harvest Festival is coming up this weekend.

This year’s festival will be held on Saturday, October 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, October 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Main Street Toccoa Events Coordinator Sharon Crosby says this year’s event will feature more than 100 craft and food vendors.

“This year’s Harvest Festival is going to be on October 30th and 31st. We’re real excited about the vendors that we have coming. There’s always good food and activities for the kids. We’re looking forward to a great time,” she said.

Crosby says the 44th annual Harvest Festival will feature several different entertainment options.

“We hope to have over 100 vendors, and they’ll be lined up on Doyle Street between Hill Street and Alexander. Of course, we have entertainment for both days. We’ll have a tent with tables sponsored by Mike Jones so people can come and buy their food and sit and enjoy the entertainment this year,” she said.

She says there will be many activities for children as well.

The festival also offers regional and international foods, a Classic Car Cruise-in, and the Currahee Artist Guild’s art exhibit and sale.

As always, the emphasis of the Harvest Festival is on homemade, home-baked, and homegrown items.

Again, on Saturday, October 30 and Sunday, October 31 come enjoy the 44th annual Toccoa Harvest Festival.
