42nd annual Toccoa Harvest Festival kicks off tomorrow

An annual Fall tradition returns to downtown Toccoa this weekend.

The 42nd annual Toccoa Harvest Festival takes place Saturday and Sunday in downtown Toccoa.

Toccoa Main Street Events Coordinator Sharon Crosby said there will be many craft and food vendors with booths set up, but also this year’s festival will feature entertainment options, ranging from two music stages to activities for children.

“As always our craft vendors have new and unique items for sale. This year we have so really neat items. Another favorite is the food vendors who serve a variety of foods. And this year, we have entertainment options, with two stages set up,” she said.

Crosby adds that the Harvest Festival is unique from other area festivals.

“We’re about the only festival that doesn’t allow retail items. Everything here is handmade, and that attracts visitors from all over the region,” she said.

Entertainment and children’s activities will run from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, and on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
