4 arrested for drug possession after welfare check

The Toccoa Police Department arrested four after a welfare check.

According to Toccoa Police Chief Jimmy Mize, on July 13, Toccoa Police Department’s Patrol Unit responded to 125 S. Alexander Street, in reference to a welfare check called in by a subjects’ mother, who had not heard from them in four days.

Once at the residence, officers made contact with the residents of the home and determined that drugs were present.

Toccoa Police Department’s Narcotics Unit was called to the scene, and they executed a search warrant on the residence based on an ongoing investigation as well as the drugs located at the scene.

Upon completion of the search warrant, four were arrested at the residence.

Daryl Michael Oldham, 44, of Toccoa, was arrested and charged with the sale of methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance: MDMA, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance: THC Concentrate, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Katelyn Marie Watkins, 28, of Toccoa, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Jonathan Colt Gibby, 24, of Toccoa, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Jordan Blair Garland, 26, of Toccoa, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
