The SCHS Indians and Lady Indians tennis teams will play today in the region tennis tournament. The Indians hold the #3 seed in the boys bracket and play Hart County at 12:30 p.m. and the Lady Indians are the #2 seed and have a 1st round bye into the semi-final match at 5:00 p.m.

Also, the SCHS varsity golf team takes on Madison County here in Stephens County this afternoon at the Links Golf Course on Black Mountain Road while the soccer teams travels to West Hall High School to take on the Spartans, with the girls game starting at 5:30 p.m. with the boys game to follow at 7:45 p.m. 

Also tonight, the Stephens County Indians Baseball team kicks off a series against Franklin County tonight at home with first pitch at 6 p.m. and airtime on WNEG Radio at 5:45 p.m. The Indians and Lions take to the diamond again this Friday with a double header at Franklin County High School. First game first pitch is at 5 p.m. with airtime on WNEG Radio and wnegradio.com at 4:45 p.m., and the second game immediately following at approximately 7 p.m.

Also on Friday, The SCHS Track and Field athletes will take part in the Mt. Yonah Invitational meet at p.m. at White County High School, and on Saturday, the Stephens County  4-H .22 Rimfire Rifle Team has a local match at the Georgia Mountain Shooting Association Range in Eastanollee.
