Toccoa Rotary Club Makes Donations

The Toccoa Rotary Club donates money to local organizations.

The Stuff The Bus 5k Run-Walk held last November has proven to be the gift that keeps giving. At Tuesday’s Toccoa Rotary Club meeting the club presented checks of over $3500 to the local Toccoa Soup Kitchen, and over $4500 to the Neighbors 4 Neighbors program.

The money was raised through sponsors and competitors during the annual Stuff The Bus event on November 18th. In December, the club donated over 400 pounds of food to the organizations.

The “Stuff The Bus” Annual Food Drive is an annual event hosted by the Toccoa Rotary Club and the 2017 event was one of the more successful events according to the Rotarians.
