3 New Restaurants coming to Toccoa

Three new restaurants are coming to Toccoa-Stephens County.

Toccoa’s Community Development Director Connie Tabor says Chick-Fil-A, Firehouse Subs, and Dunkin’ Donuts are setting up shot here in Toccoa.

She says Chick-Fil-A will be located on the site where Quincy’s is currently located at 605 Big A Road.
“It’s going to be located at the old Quincy’s location, 605 Big A Road. What they’ll do is demolish the former Quincy restaurant and will build sort of in the same site. I’m not sure when they’ll start the demolition. But all of the plans have been approved at this point. They’ve submitted site plans and building plans. We’ve approved the construction plans which include the demolition, erosion control, the site plan, grading, utility, landscape, just construction details,” she said.

Firehouse Subs will be in the same shopping center as Starbucks.

“We’ve issued the building permit for it. It’s in the same building complex as Starbucks,” she said.

Dunkin’ Donuts will also be on Big A Road.

Tabor says they don’t yet know when all three will open just yet.

She adds that she is glad to see new businesses coming to Toccoa-Stephens County.

“We’re happy to have this development. Especially to be coming into existing infrastructure. I think that’s really important. If you can’t reuse a building, like Quincy’s, it’s great that they’re coming back into that footprint, and located close to the downtown area, rather than locating somewhere else. We’re glad to have it,” she said.
