3 arrested for drugs following SCSO investigation

The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office have arrested three individuals following a two-week investigation.

According to Stephens County Sheriff Randy Shirley, on February 19, investigators went to 424 Law House Road after receiving information about possible drug activity at the residence.

Upon their arrival deputies met with several people in the front of the residence along with another group inside the home.

Shirley says two of these individuals, identified as 17-year-old Skylar Hullet and 49-year-old Rex Gibby, both of Toccoa were found to have active arrest warrants.

A female, located in front of the residence, identified as 49-year-old Joni Lewis, of Winder was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Shirley says Hullet was arrested for probation violation and transported to the Stephens County Jail.

Lewis was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine.

She was transported to the Stephens County Jail and was later released on a $15,000 bond.

Gibby was picked up by Franklin County Deputies on their active warrants for theft.
