2023 CHATTAHOOCHEE OCONEE FORESTS INTERPRETIVE FUND GRANT OPPORTUNITY

The Chattahoochee Oconee Forests Interpretive Fund is accepting grant applications until 5:00 p.m. on October 16. Grant submission must be completed and sent in by the 5 p.m. deadline on October 16 to be considered. 

Proposals are accepted from North Georgia nonprofit organizations with their 501c3 status, government, and educational institutions. Grants will be awarded to support natural resources and conservation educational initiatives. 

Proposals that focus on and address issues related to forest resources and management in the North Georgia region will receive priority. Grant awards will be up to $5,000. Multiple grants will be awarded. 

To apply, prepare a 1-page proposal with the following information: A brief description of your organization’s mission and history, and a description of the project you are requesting funding for. Clearly state the specific needs, how the needs will be met, funding amount being requested, project budget, and the project time frame. Describe the intended results/outcomes of the project. Include contact information for the primary project contact (email address, mailing address, and phone number). 

If the primary project contact is different than the organization’s Executive Director, please include their contact information as well.

The Chattahoochee Oconee Forests Interpretive Fund is a fund of The North Georgia Community Foundation (NGCF). This grant cycle is separate from the NGCF Community Grants.
