Veterans Talk About Veterans during Veterans Day Observance in Toccoa

In observance of Veterans Day, on Wednesday, a service was held in the Pavilion at Camp Toccoa at Currahee.

Presented by the American Legion Post 104, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4346, the United States Marine Corps League Currahee Mountain Detachment 1303, and the American Veterans Post 600, several veterans, family members and friends gathered during the ceremony.

During the ceremony, Veterans David Cornelius of the United States Marine Corps, William Tucker of the U.S. Navy, Erika Rayford of the U.S. Air Force, Debbie Brown of the U.S. Air Force, and Veterans Field Service Officer Rose Rudisill spoke about Veterans.

Organizer and Veteran Rick Hack welcomed those who gathered.

The invocation was led by Cornelius.

Following the observance, the BPOE Elks Lodge 1820 of Toccoa provided a free Veterans take-out lunch.
