Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce continues Ribbon Tying Trail

The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce will continue its Ribbon Tying campaign today.

The stops on today’s Ribbon Tying Trail include Franklin Insurance Agency, Angel Oak Home, and Woodmen Life.

The ribbon tying at Franklin Insurance Agency, located at 219 N. Broad Street will begin at 10 a.m.; then at 11 a.m. the Chamber will make its way down to Angel Oak Home, located at 46 Doyle Street; and the last stop today will take place at 12 p.m. at Woodmen Life, located at 80 Doyle Street.

Last week, as part of the Chambers Ribbon Tying Trail, the Chamber met at Currahee Station to tie a ribbon, and later met at the Chamber office to tie a ribbon for the Lavonia Chick-Fil-A.

Chamber President Julie Paysen says the Ribbon Tying Campaign is symbolic for the community coming together to support local businesses.

“We’ve been on a little bit of a hiatus with our Ribbon Cuttings, due to the obvious. And so, we’re kicking those off this week on a ribbon tying trail,” Paysen said. “We’re switching up a little bit. What a ribbon tying is it represents the community coming around our local businesses.”

On Friday, October 30, the Ribbon Tying Trail will visit the Friends of The Ritz, Toccoa Hardware, and Junior Bar and Grill.
