Spa and Salon Anastasia takes first place in Main Street Toccoa’s Storefront Window Contest

The winner has been announced for the annual Main Street Toccoa Downtown Toccoa Storefront Window Contest.

According to Main Street Manager Christian Hamilton, Spa and Salon Anastasia took first place.

Hamilton says judges described the storefront as evoking the beauty of the classic “Macy’s in New York City.”

Downtown Flowers took second place and featured a unique and handcrafted window tree that judges called gorgeous and exquisite.

Finally, there was an even tie for third place, with co-winners All Things Currahee and C.K. Morgan and Company.

The contest ran through the month of December and was determined with a popular vote at the official Main Street Toccoa website, as well as by judges who walked around to each storefront.

Main Street Toccoa would like to sincerely thank the Main Street Managers of Cornelia and Clarkesville – Jessie Owensby and Trudy Crunkleton, respectively – for their assistance in judging this contest.

Hamilton says the downtown businesses outdo themselves every year.

Main Street Toccoa is a nationally accredited Main Street and Georgia Exceptional Main Street and focuses on downtown development through the lens of historic preservation.
