The FFA Alumni scholarship application period has been extended. The new due date is March 8. Applications can be picked up from LaDonna Bartmas or downloaded from the Senior Google Classroom.

Kindergarten registration for Stephens County will be held March 14 3:30-6 p.m. and March 15 from  9 a.m.-1 p.m.at  Big A Elementary School, 289 Sorrels Road, Eastanollee. For more information, visit stephenscountyshcools.com

Also, Pre-K applications are now being accepted for the 2024-2025 school year. Enrollment is by lottery. The deadline to apply is March 28  Visit the Central Office, 191 Big A Road in Toccoa, to apply in person or complete the online registration at stephenscountyschools.com

Also, in February, SCHS Freshman Colsen Ivey was selected to participate in the Georgia Senate Page Program. The Senate Page Program offers students ages 12-18 a first-hand opportunity to visit the Capitol to observe and participate in the legislative process during the General Assembly’s 40-day legislative session. For one designated day, Senate Pages serve the Senate by delivering important information and messages to Senators in the Senate Chamber.
