City announces holiday schedule

Toccoa City Hall has announced the city’s schedule for Memorial Day on this coming Monday, May 27.

Toccoa City Hall will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.

Garbage Route and Recycle Route scheduled to be picked up on Monday, May 27th will be picked up on Tuesday, May 28th.

Commercial garbage will be picked up as usual, but yard waste and other items will not be collected.

The Toccoa Police and Fire Departments will be on duty. Utility department employees, as well as employees from the Public Works Department, will be on call for emergency situations.

The Links at Lake Toccoa will operate as normal.
