Stephens County Clerk of Court Tim Quick said that jurors in Stephens County who were scheduled to report on Monday, September 29 do not need to report on Monday. Those jurors do need to call the Stephens County Clerk of Court’s Office on Monday afternoon for instructions on reporting on Tuesday. The number those jurors should call is 706-282-1111.

Accident Thursday Morning on Ga. 365

Crews responded Thursday morning to an accident in Stephens County. It occurred on Georgia Highway 365 in the area of the Jeanette Jamieson Intersection. Sheriff Randy Shirley reports that one truck overturned in the accident and landed on the guardrail. A man from Habersham County was injured in the accident and taken by EMS to Habersham Medical Center.
