Annual Stop The Bullying Free Concert Scheduled For Aug. 20

A free concert scheduled at the Ritz Theatre in Toccoa next Tuesday, August 20 will put the focus on local anti-bullying efforts.

Tammie Arthur, organizer of Stephens County’s Stop the Bullying campaign, the campaign started in 2017 when a young boy took his own life after being the victim of bullying.

She said the event is not only to support those who are being bullied, but to provide help to those who are bullying others.

This year’s concert will feature performances by Stephen County’s own Nashville Recording Artist and songwriter Kalaan White, Rock Unity and D-Earl, and Christian Hip Hop Evangelists B-Shoc, also a Toccoa native.

Doors will open at 5:30 P.M. and the concert begins at 6 P.M. The event is free of charge, and there will be door prizes awarded between music sets.

Arthur adds that there are several volunteer opportunities available for anyone wishing to help out.
